Country Living in Manhattan

The exact opposite of "country living" is Manhattan.

So what better place to stage Country Living Magazine's Home Green Home 2010 House of the Year? New Yorkers feeling a little bit country in addition to a little bit rock and roll can mosey on down to the World Financial Center in Battery Park City (220 Vesey Street) now through June 17th and Country Living will donate $1 per home tourer (up to $5,000) to the National Parks of New York Harbor Conservancy.

Check Country Living's HGH info page for hours, directions, and other details
.

Several of my vintage finds are prettying up that 2010 House of the Year in New York. Very exciting. Country Living came to Etsy. Etsy came to me.
Unfortunately, I am in Chicago. The Home Green Home 2010 House of the Year article is slated for Country Living's November issue. Until then, they are been all kinds of quiet about that house. I'm all kinds of losing it, wanting to see how everything is presented, wanting to play decor "Where's Waldo" with the Etsy items, wanting to make squealy noises like a little kid whose picture is in the paper.

Check it out because it's an anomaly, because it sounds fun, because they're donating money to a good cause, and because I have to experience it vicariously through you.
